ABOUT COOLUM NEWS

Coolum News is a monthly news and lifestyle magazine for residents of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, suburb of Coolum.

It is delivered to the nearly 3000 letterboxes in the region that do not carry a NO JUNK MAIL sign and also is also available at key locations for pick up including The Shop convenience store on David Low Way (opposite Coolum Surf Club) and at Aussie Coolum on Birtwill Street.

The magazine is an A5 gloss format.

Its first edition came out in August 2020 making it the second publication in the Your Community Media stable alongside Peregian Springs News (founded September 2015). A third publication in the stable, Eastern Beaches News, was launched in September 2020.

ABOUT COOLUM

Coolum is a coastal suburb on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia – about 20km south of Noosa Heads.

The suburb is bound by the Sunshine Coast Motorway to the west and the coastline and David Low Way to the east and is home to about 10,000 residents living across a range of traditional tin and timber homes, more modern brick and tile and in multi-storey apartment blocks closer to the beach.
